SUMMARY:AODN International Conference
DESCRIPTION:From Sustainable To Regenerative: Organization Development And Management Practices \nThe International Federation of Scholarly Associations of Management (IFSAM)\, together with the International College of the National Institute of Development Administration (ICO NIDA) and the Asian Organization Development Network (AODN)\, is pleased to announce its inaugural international conference dedicated to fostering dialogue between scholars and practitioners on the pressing challenges of regenerative development and organizational transformation. \nAnchored in the theme “From Sustainable to Regenerative: Organization Development and Management Practices”\, it is intentionally designed as a collaborative platform where researchers\, business leaders\, consultants\, policymakers\, and change agents come together to engage in meaningful dialogue\, challenge conventional thinking\, and collectively explore pathways to building regenerative organizations and more resilient\, thriving societies. \nAs organizations across sectors are operating in an increasingly complex and interconnected landscape shaped by environmental\, social\, technological\, and economic disruption\, regeneration is emerging as a new paradigm for organizational development. Becoming a regenerative organization\, however\, requires more than adopting new sustainability initiatives; it demands a fundamental rethinking of management practices\, organizational structures\, leadership\, and the ways organizations create value for people\, communities\, and the natural environment. \nIn this context\, we invite you to share your change initiatives\, leadership approaches\, innovative management practices\, research findings\, conceptual frameworks\, and practical case studies that demonstrate how organizations can cultivate resilience\, foster regenerative capabilities\, and create long-term value across diverse organizational and societal contexts. \nSubmission Formats \nWe welcome two forms of contribution that support dialogue between research and practice: \n\nLong Abstracts\nAuthors are invited to submit long abstracts presenting original theoretical\, empirical\, methodological\, conceptual\, or review-based work.\nLength: 1\,000–2\,000 words (excluding references)\nStructure: title\, introduction\, literature review\, methodology\, results\, discussion\, conclusion\, and references.\nPractice Insights\nThese are concise\, experience-driven\, and reflective contributions that share innovative practices\, leadership challenges\, organizational transformations\, lessons learned\, or responses to real-world management issues. Their purpose is to provide actionable insights from practice and foster dialogue between practitioners and researchers.\nLength: 1\,000–2\,000 words\nStructure: Submissions should include the following sections: title\, executive summary (maximum 250 words)\, organizational context and problem addressed\, approach or solution implemented\, results and outcomes achieved\, reflections and lessons learned\, and implications. A sample submission is available upon request.\n\nSubmission Guidelines \n\nSubmissions must be original and not under consideration elsewhere.\nSubmissions must be in English and written in a clear\, concise\, and formal style.\nSubmissions must be in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) format.\nManuscripts must be submitted as a single electronic file containing all text\, tables\, figures\, and appendices.\nInclude a separate title page listing the paper title\, author(s)’ names\, affiliations\, mailing addresses\, the corresponding author\, and the conference track to which the paper is being submitted.\nUse A4 paper size\, 12-point Times New Roman font\, 1.5 line spacing\, and 2.5 cm margins on all sides.\nNumber figures and tables consecutively (e.g.\, Figure 1\, Table 1) and provide clear captions.\nEnsure high resolution (minimum 300 DPI for images).\nUse the APA (7th edition) citation style. Ensure that all in-text citations are included in the reference list.\nAt least one author must register for and attend the conference to present the paper.\n\nPlease send delegate papers to conference@practice-research.org; the final acceptance date for submissions is 20 Oct 2026. \nConference Schedule Details\nTimes below are in Indochina Time (ICT) \n26 November 2026: Registration opens at 12:00pm; welcome remarks begin at 2pm. The day concludes at 9pm.\n27 November 2026: 09:30–6pm\n28 November 2026: 09:30–6pm \nPricing\n– On-site practitioner / Academics registration fee: $100\n– On-site students: $50\n– Virtual practitioner / Academics: $80\n– Virtual students: $30 \nOn-site registration closes 19 November; Virtual registration closes 24 November  \nConference Tracks \nExplore the conference tracks and select the one that best aligns with the focus of your contribution. The conference program combines keynote sessions\, parallel presentations\, interactive workshops\, and open-space activities to foster dialogue\, encourage collaboration\, and inspire new approaches to building regenerative organizations\,  resilient communities\, and thriving societies.\n\n▪ Organizational development\, change management & leadership for regenerative organizations \nThis track explores how organizations can lead transformative change to become regenerative in the face of complex social\, ecological\, technological\, and economic challenges. We welcome research\, case studies\, and practice-based insights on leadership\, organization development\, organizational culture\, change management\, and interventions that enable organizations to renew\, restore\, and strengthen the systems in which they operate. \n▪ Future of work\, human capital & regenerative workforce development \nThis track examines how organizations can cultivate the human capabilities\, relationships\, and cultures needed to thrive in an increasingly complex and interconnected world. SUMMARY:Community Convening on Community Based Doula Programs
DESCRIPTION:In Indiana\, we face alarming infant health statistics. In 2022\, Indiana had a significant infant mortality rate of 7.2 deaths per 1\,000 live births – the seventh-highest rate in the country! One of the ways we can begin to address this crisis is by empowering community-based doulas to provide prenatal\, labor\, and postnatal support to women in communities with the highest infant mortality rates – LaPorte\, St. Joseph\, Elkhart\, and Marshall with 8.0 deaths per 1\,000 live births and Howard\, Tipton\, Grant\, Madison\, Blackford\, Delaware\, Henry\, Jay\, and Randolph with 7.6 deaths per 1\,000 live births. \nTo help address these disparities\, through funding from Elevance Health and in partnership with HealthConnect One’s community-based doula training program\, Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana invite community stakeholders to participate in a community convening on May 13\, 2025 at Shepherd Community Center. \nThis is an excellent opportunity for stakeholders from various sectors\, including community leaders\, healthcare providers\, WIC staff\, doulas\, and more to learn more about the national best practice model\, HealthConnect One for Community Based Doula Programs\, and strategic initiatives at Volunteers of America Ohio and Indiana toward bettering infant health. \nPlease Register by May 8\, 2025. We look forward to seeing you there! \nIf purchasing an Exhibitor Booth\, please add registration tickets for each representative of your booth(s). Up to 2 representatives per booth.  \nDownload the event flyer here.  \n  \nJOIN THE VIRTUAL MEETING SPACE HERE.
